POCO already launched POCO M3 in the global market in November 2020. But today ( 2nd February 2021 ) POCO launched POCO M3 in the Indian market after lots of leaks. POCO M3 price starts at ₹ 10,999.00 for the 6GB, 64GB variant.

POCO M3 is powered by a Snapdragon 662 chipset, which is a decent 4G processor and also upgraded from its predecessor POCO M2. The performance increased when Snapdragon 662 pairs with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB ( UFS 2.1 ) of storage. POCO M3 has a 6000mAh big battery which is a plus point and for POCO it is their selling point. Other than that it runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 ( It is a little heavy UI and full of features if you like Stock android then you might not like MIUI 12 ). The Geekbench score is 1398. All in all, POCO wants to give a package with this smartphone at this price range.

POCO M3 has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ infinity-v display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. This makes POCO M3 unique from its competitors in this price range. The display is an IPS LCD display that has a refresh rate of 60Hz. This phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a brightness of up to 400nits. Other than that it has a plastic frame with a plastic back which is expected in this price range, but the design is unique where the camera bump covers 1/4th of the back kind of OnePlus Cyberpunk edition. This phone comes in three colors Cool Blue, Power Black & Yellow, which is POCO’s theme also.

POCO M3 has three cameras, one main sensor of 48MP ( Wide lens f/1.8 ), a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth lens. The Macro and Depth lens is just to increase the camera number ( eg. Tripple Camera setup ). The cameras are good enough in this price range, decent quality photos, and can shoot videos up to [email protected] And there is one selfie camera of 8MP, behind that v-notch, which is also capable to shoot videos up to [email protected]

Other

It has a dedicated memory card slot that supports memory cards up to 512GB. This phone has a USB Type-C port, a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dual speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm Audio Jack. It supports fast-charging up to 18 Watt and up to 2.5Watt reverse wired charging.

Conclusion

POCO M3 is a good phone the price is justified, an FHD+ display and the design itself is very unique. It is a rebranded smartphone from its former parent company’s product Redmi 9 Power with some slight changes. One can buy this phone in this price range, it will be worth it. Thanks For Reading.
