Tesla, the car that only a few can afford or Tesla the stock on NSE and BSE, where a lot more people can buy. @elonmusk here’s what India wants more.😬👇— Nithin Kamath (@Nithin0dha) January 13, 2021
CEO of Zerodha Nithin Kamath said in a tweet that while a Tesla car can be afforded only by a few Indians, its stock can be bought by a lot more people in India. His poll on Twitter shows that clearly, nearly 80% of people voted for the shares rather than the car, because of obvious reasons, reports say that the price of the cheapest Tesla, the Tesla Model 3 is near about 75 lakh Indian rupees ( as of 16.01.2021 ) after custom duty charges & all.
Elon Musk crossed Jef Bezos in terms of wealth the previous year. The market value of Tesla is increased to $773.5 billion. And last year Tesla produced just over half-a-million cars. All these stats show more and more potential growth of Tesla as an EV manufacturer worldwide. And in the future, we may see Tesla India listed in NSE & BSE also.
